Baby It's Cold Outside!!!
About this time of year the average temperature here in Eagle Idaho is in the 40s. I (being a girl born and raised in Southern California where the temperature NEVER reaches the 40s) thought it would be hard to get used to this. Surprisingly, I am coping just fine. This morning when we woke up there was frost on the ground, now when this would happen in California, it was usually gone by 10:00 in the morning. We left the house at noon, and where ever there was a shadow, there was still frost. I was a little excited because this can only means that snow is on the way. I can't wait to be able to make a snowman in my own front yard, I am still a little worried about the temperature getting into the 20s during the day but I'll deal with that when it comes. Here's for making hot chocolate, sitting by the fireplace, and making beanies and scarves!!!

I too have finally learned that the cold in Idaho isn't really anything to be afraid of. But then I don't think I've ever seen it in the 20's or been in it for more than about 6 days, either! Just grab a heavier jacket and walk a little quicker from the car to the store - at least that's what I see going on!
Oops! The above anonymous message was me. Guess I got over-confident in my clicking and went a little too quickly. In case I have truly forgotten how to do this correctly, it's me, Mom!!

SHOOT!
That was so funny - I was like, WOW! Kells has 4 comments!!! But it was all mom. :) Kelley - ENJOY the seasons. I'm tellin ya, I LOVE it. To be honest, it kinda feels like a fuller life. Not everyone agrees, but I love it. Invest of some "hotties" for your hands and feet, and you've got it made! Love ya, Idaho girl!
Yay for seasons! Whether they be mild or more extreme. I won't listen to a weatherman if he complains when it rains, then complains when it's too sunny.
You got there at a good time Kells, able to ease your way into the winter.
Yeah! I agree! Isn't it great?! How was your first snow? Did you make snow angels?
