Tyler's dad and step-mom were Eleni's first visitors. They were going to wait until few weeks after she was born but after seeing a picture of her, they couldn't wait. Eleni was born on a Tuesday and they were here on Saturday. John is still trying to get over the fact that he is a grandfather at 44 (sorry John) but I think he took to it very well. I'm glad they came and got me out of the house. We took a couple walks around the neighborhood and there was a rib cook-off going on that weekend at a park behind our neighborhood that we went to. All in all it was a great visit and we can't wait to see them again.
Tyler had (and still has) a stuffed monkey growing up and John tried to find the same one for Eleni but had to settle for this one.

Some great pictures! I especially like the one of Eleni with her eyes open. She's beginning to look like herself instead of a "newborn". Sweetest little face!
Wow, these are great pictures! Other than the Yankees hat on John he looks like a good grandpa! Welcome to the grandparents club John and Lilly!
Can't wait for this weekend to get here to see and hold Eleni. I'm counting the hours!
